What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a method of bringing about relaxation, balance and healing through the stimulation of specific points, known as reflexes, on the feet. These reflexes connect to distinct areas of the body via nerve pathways. Tension or congestion in any part of the body is mirrored in the corresponding areas on the feet.

By working over the reflexes in a precise and systematic way and by applying controlled pressure, reflexology brings about a state of deep relaxation, stimulates the body's own healing processes and helps you to return to a state of balance and well-being.

Reflexology is an holistic therapy that treats the whole body and mind and as such it can

Reflexology is not new but has been developed over thousands of years by practitioners from conventional and complimentary medicine. Modern reflexology is both a science and an art and requires careful study and a sound knowledge of the techniques to achieve the best results.
